Streets of Monticello Association Downtown Façade Grant Program

The Streets of Monticello Association is excited to announce the second round of our Façade Grant Program!

After a successful first round and seeing improvements already come to life in downtown Monticello, S.O.M.A. is once again investing in our downtown businesses and buildings.

The S.O.M.A. Façade Grant Program offers matching grants to property and business owners within the downtown district to improve the exterior appearance of their buildings. S.O.M.A. has committed $10,000 in matching grant funds for this round of the program.

Applications will be accepted October 1 through December 31, 2026, with grant recipients announced at S.O.M.A.’s Annual Meeting in January 2027.

Eligible project plans must total more than $2,500, with a maximum matching grant of $10,000 per project.

Supporting our small businesses and property owners as they reinvest in their buildings is an important part of keeping downtown Monticello vibrant, welcoming, and thriving. It’s about preserving the character of our downtown while continuing to build an even brighter future.

We loved seeing the impact of our first Façade Grant projects, and we can’t wait to see what’s next!
